Exclamation CD Recording Equipment

Can anyone tell me where I can purchase a CD recording system (hardware or Software) that will allow me to record backing music onto CD. I must be able to change key and tempo.

Unfortunately, I am not too literate on the IT side.

Assistance would be greatly appreciated

That's a big question

Are you planning on using pre-recorded (Karaoke) tracks, or building and recording your own? Do you presently have a good PC and sound card capable of recording, that has a CD burner? There are many pieces of software out there that will do what you are asking. I would think that in order to fill the need with one software you could get by with the latest version of Nero. The wave editor that comes with it is capable of transposition of most background tracks by at least 1 whole step up or down and still give a decent sound. Plus, you can burn to the cd with it. Hope this helps a little.....if not, expand your question some and we'll see what we can do for you. J D
