Dj Quik's Trauma album is finally here!


I need to cop this album, Quik has been talking about the way he is going to make every engineer go back to the drawing board with his soon to be patented style of engineering. anyone that has a good control room and has this album, please let me know what you think of this album. his technique is supposed to utilize the digital technology to produce an analog sound better than anything else out right now besides a straight analog studio.

I'll tell you what, Quick have been behind more projects than people would think. I have found his name on many credits for songs produced, written, and so on...........Many cats are behind the scene nowadays, dudes that once had the spotlight. Take Eddie F and Pete Rock for example......... (And there are plenty of others) I know it is off the subject, but it's good to see old heads still in the game! Dr dre is more heard from than seen nowadays! Some of your best Hiphop producers are ex-DJ's (Have you noticed that?)Maybe Kanye should go back to hiding. I like him as a producer but not as an artist. (Just my Opinion) But DO YOUR THING QUICK .............................
