The song isn't bad, you might try clearing up the vocals a little on your next one though. I'm not critisizing, I know distorted vocals are a part of your genre. I just mean a little less distortion will help the vocals cut through the mix more. By the way, you've got a pretty good voice, don't scream too much and mess up your vocal cords which can happen easily in your early teens.

Thumbs up

Actually - I'll elaborate on the "yikes..."

The recording is very demo'ish (which is alright since you're in the song-writing phase), so you won't win any points for recording quality. You already know the voice needs a lot of work, but I think you have some real interesting guitar stuff happening, you just need to develop more and make it a bit more cohesive.

Keep doing what you're doing though - you'll progress steadily, I'm sure!

I don't know how serious you can take this, coming from someone who's completely blank on guitar, but I think your skills with the strings is impressive. Specially if you're only 14...The rest of the track, well everything has pretty much been said about that Not to bad of a voice though, just need to practice a bit more.

I'm diggin,i love the guitars something different and the whole thing is a good idea, just lack of song quality thats all,but keep on going and you'll get better. You have a talent, just need a little help in recording.
BTW did you have a metronome going? If not i suggest one.

Good job bro!!

If I were writing songs (let alone harmonizing vocals) at 16 I'd be a gazillionaire by now from writing for other people. I was too damn busy learning how to play “Revelation Mother Earth” not-for-note as opposed to composing.

Your song is actually not half bad! I hear a Staind influence (or at least that’s how I’d produce it). Of course the vocals are... well... out of tune with one another. I suggest practicing your ass off before you attempt to track. With all due respect, I totally admire your creativity alone; but your skills are still in early development.

Keep writing them songs though! Go out, get another girlfriend and have her catch you cheating on her with her mom’s older sister. Drama makes for some great music! your voice though!!!! I know you said to pay no mind to vocals but- aye yai yai!!!! Get another singer to record your parts if you wanna record now, otherwise start practicing them scales brother!

However, the music is pretty damn good.

Just my opinion!

Right now, I wouldn't try harmonies until you learn a little more about music theory and what constitutes a chord.

Certain notes, when sung in unison, create a chord, like with a guitar or piano. You can't just throw any two random notes together and expect them to form a proper chord. The notes have to follow a given structure in order to make for a proper harmony, and each note has to be in tune.
