Mpc 2000xl

Anybody had this problem before? When I play certain sequences of songs on my MPC 2000xl where theres alot of notes and effects being played at once, the tempo slows down. Ive never noticed it doing that before. And its very noticable, like at least a 2bpm shift. Anybody know anything about that?

I would think the memory is too full or something but its never happened until a couple weeks ago, and the MPC is built to do a certain amount of processing, maybe an old processor or something?
