2488 Pre-Amp?
Anyone know what chip is used for the 2488 pre-amp?
i been asking this for sometime. No response...even at the Tascam forum. i had the unit all opened up the other day to fix the CDR and should have looked.... anyone???

Fix on the CDR drawer
hey, REEL...
it was a user-error fault. fixed my own error. I bumped the CDR drawer while it was in the out position and it quite moving in&out.. and luckily I was able to put the little gear pin back in the "groove", under the tray, by opening up the CDR and then its quite visible to see the problem...  i may open it up again... i've been wondering about the pre-amp chip for sometime. just curious gearhead info. They don't give out schematics like the old days.....
