Which Program Should I Dither In?
So here's my setup: I'm recording all my drums in Vegas. And then moving over to Acid where I do Overdubs and all my editing, mixing and apply plugins. Everything I record is in 24-bit/48khz. My question is, I'm going to be using CD Architech for assembley and burning, and was wondering, should I dither just there or should I dither in a different program first and just use 16-bit/44.1 in Cd Architech?
Thanks. |

My opinion is to keep your stuff at the highest resolution to the end, then dither while burning in CDA. At least that's what I do with my 24/44.1 mixes.

Okay, I figured it should be at the end, but just checking. Thanks.
