ideal desk/monitor placement in untreated room

i jus ordered the studio rta saturn desk

and imma get some wharfs real soon. so the best place to have ur mons is at least 3 ft apart and in the center of the room i think? i live in a 1bdrm apt by myself so im gonna convert the bdrm into my "studio" and sleep in teh living room.

in my room, one side has a window in the center of teh wall, opposite to that window is the closet and door in the corner. then theres the 2 bare walls. where would b the best place to have my desk? i wanna have it in the center rite in front of the window, but im guessin thatd b the worse place for room acousitics? or would it?

See the article How to Set up a Room on my company's web site. It explains exactly what you're asking.

Studio RTA's Saturn desk is a cheap knock off of Bush Industries' Jagger desk.

I would go for that instead - its probably cheaper and was actually made in the US unlike StudioRTA product which is made in China.

Bush's Comfort Zone Desk was actually picked as a Consumers Digest Best Buy:
