Fiberglass prices

I just got a quote on some 2 inch thick, 4 lb. density 703, and the rep told me it would be $1.22/ sq. foot.

let me know the prices you guys have paid, or seen.

I bought mine in Dec of last year. 96 sq feet was $85.44 or $.89 a foot. They came 12@2X24X48 panels.SPI is the company I found. They are on the net and nation wide with a dealor locator.

In my area (Salt Lake City) you can get Rockwool (very similar performance) for about 50 cents a square foot.

ya, rockwool tends to be cheaper everywhere, so if 703 is too much, check and see if they have rockwool. I decided to go with 703 becuse it is rigid and easier to work with when making panels. You just have to decide if it is worth it.
