Mr Music is on a distinguished road
Why is this so impossible on this forum...it would be nice...

I really want to hear a raw acapella...no mixing, no cleaning, no nothing...

Recorded in a treated room...it doesnt have to be over an instrumental/music etc.

Just an acapella would be nice...raw raw, but well done...

I know many of you have the whole privacy thingie going on...but for those that dont mind- it would be nice...

thanks

Any particular reason? The final 20 secs of the first song you'll find in the link in my sig is almost pure a cappella. Tiny amount of reverb and a faint guitar. Strong female singer recorded thru a reasonably decent chain (Neumann TLM 193 - SPL Goldmike - EMU 0404 card). If you want for some overwhelming reason I could give you it with the guitar and all processing removed.

I was once in Acapulco, but I didn't record myself singing unfortunately.

I think you can get some Raw and brutal acapella; If you get the Idol Dvd.
You can even get it reviewed.
and visualized.

Hmmm... interesting... unusual here to get a request for an mp3 posting.

Mr Music, if I may ask, why so much interest in a cappella? (I've noticed some other current threads of yours with a similar focus - unprocessed "raw" a cappella files.) Perhaps you could just dive in and post something a cappella you've recorded...?

An a cappella performance can be a beautiful thing, but would be a rarity (though a nice addition) in the clinic here. It certainly could be approached as a mix-related topic, since multi-mic'ing and ambience issues are in the realm of mixing. And actually, I think a lot of the mp3's posted here are just as much about aesthetics of art music as they are about mixing.

BTW, what’s "the privacy thingie"?

Tim
