Hey guys,
Anyone know anything about this little mixer , . .how do the pre amps sound on this unit, . .are they descent, . .how do they compare to the 424 pre's? I was thinking of using one as a sub-mixer for the drum-kit, . .Thanks in advance guys! |

I have one and its not a bad little mixer.
But It only has fixed Hi and low eq and it only will take 1/4 inch inputs so you would need to buy 6 adaptors for your microphones. I would consider the cost of all of those before buying the mixer. You may be able to pick up something like a model 30 that would be much more flexible and have better eq. |

The M-06 should serve well as a small submixer to the 424mkII. It uses 1/4" ins and outs, as well as RCA outs, access patch points & other handys stuff. I think it has phono preamps.

So, what exactly are 'phono pre-amps'. . .?
Also, whats the best way to use mics with XLR ends . . .can I just buy a few XLR to 1/4" adapters? Thanks! |
