yamaha MR-1

i just got one of these. i cant find any websites about it. i want to get a better organ sound out of it. can you help me? the only example of the kind of sound i want is on the new clutch album. and i believe he plays a wurlitzer, if that helps.

I got an MR-1 (Got it new in '83), and unfortunately what you hear is what you get. This was a 1st Generation Yamaha FM organ, but there's no way to tweak the sound on this thing without cracking her open, and swapping out parts (Other than the cheesy chorus effect).

If your after the Wurlitzer sound, the MR-1 is not the organ of choice to do so. Of course, you could always sample the sounds, and then play with them a bit in a sampler.
