Question Dm-24 Setup Fader Controll

I'm having trouble controlling the tracks from the DM-24 and I'm totally new to Digital Setup.
Setup:
DM-24
4 E-MU Sound Modules, getting 3 tracks out of each module through back outputs: main, sub1, sub2
Using a AKAI MPC2000 Sequencer to trigger my sounds going into the DM-24
MIC/LINE presently 12 tracks

I Have 2 fiber optic cable I/O in DM-24 I/O to 8 track ALESIS ADAT TYPE II
My problems is that i can't controll the sound through my faders, I'm able to control it through TRIM per channel. I want to control my tracks through the faders and play around with a mix down. Please advise what i need to have control of my tracks through the fader, i'm sure i have not configured something
