Wanted: Tascam 688 Manual

I'm looking for a manual for a buddy's Tascam 688. Apparently it's available in PDF format. Does anyone have a copy that could be emailled to me?

We used this deck about 5 years ago and synced it to Cakewalk on my PC, but I forgot how to record the MIDI clock. I've connected the MIDI cable correctly but I can't seem to remember what else I did to make this thing work.

Thanks, Bardo: Unfortunately the site only seems to list equipment that is much more current than the 688. Also, the other day I had gone so far as to call Tascam by phone and I was told they no longer have the manual on their site because the deck is too old. I could, however, buy the manual for about $20 US, but I'm too cheap.

The only thing cheaper then that is to hunt one down on ebay but, even there, you'll only save another 5 bucks at best.

There is no free one around that I'm aware of so best break open the piggy bank and cough up the coin.
