You have to use a MIDI Shepard to herd the Notes away from the other Messages, and then once they are stored on the Hard drive, be sure to mix some Hardeneer in with them to keep them from softening up and evaporating.

ALC, should one use permatex on the seals around the drive to prevent loss through vacuum leaks when it spins and changes the internal pressure ?

If I had to do that, I'd record the entire MIDI stream and then use CW's event filter to remove all note events.

MIDI data is recorded only on MIDI hard drives, yes; if it's a regular hard drive the data reflects off the drive and doesn't get absorbed.

Permatex won't help, Toki987, because the MIDI messages are made of antimatter and so cause an antivaccuum on the drive seals, smushing them inwards.

Do not attempt to use logic here. It will go completely unnoticed. Our dear Walters was in the washroom when they were handing out logic at the gene pool.
