Exclamation please help me!!!!!!

yo im running a behringer b-1 microphone into a art tube mp and out into my computer using a xlr cord that turns into a 1/4 and the its pluged into a 1/8 stereo adapter. the problem is i can only hear the mic in on ear of my headphones could it be that my 1/4 is mono and if so does any one know where i can get a female xlr cable that turns into a 1/4 stereo cable help please

Rather than recommending the right adapter, I strongly suggest you invest in something like this or this.

Not only will you get a solution to your problem --- you'll actually be able to do something with the recorded audio tracks!

"could it be that my 1/4 is mono" Well of course it's mono. In order for a stereo pair to create stereo sound you need two sources and since you are only using one source it's mono. Never the less, depending on what software you are using, it shouldn't matter because you should be able to choose the left input as your input source therefore the signal will be reproduced in mono but panned center. Hence you will receive signal from both sides of your headphones.
