I got one of these mixers back in 98. Really good mixer, and has been pretty reliable....until yesterday.
I had noticed that the lights were dim and some light light the main out LED's would not work sometimes. Later on, volume surges occurred. I even have had it to produce an anoying buzz during recordings...but only occassionally would this happen. Well, yesterday it died. Lights barely come on, and no sound. My question is, has this been a problem with those boards in the past? And does this sound like something that can be fixed? Nevertheless, I have ordered a Mackie. Would be nice if the Alesis could be fixed at reasonable cost to use as a backup. |
