Rising cost of decks
I've been notincing the rising cost of analog decks these last few months.
A3340 for over $400 A3440 for over $500 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1 Tascam 32 over $600 (but an exceptional case) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...DME:B:DS:US:28 Wow, I have thought of selling my a3440 and picking up a Tascam 34b but .... Regards

For what ever rises we see in the second hand used market, we largely have only ourselves to blame for it because we promote the positive experience of working in analog on this and a few other bulletin boards out there in cyber-space.
If everyone was of the mindset that analog was horrible and completely washed up, they'd be paying you to take the stuff away like they would a disposal company and that ain't happening. Gentlemen and ladies, we need a new strategy! Cheers! ![]() |
