Firepod Line-out channels HELP!

I have just set up a Firepod on my G4 ibook, I am using the supplied version of LE (1.07 I think). I have set-up multiple tracks and recorded fine, however I want to use the Line-outs for additional mixing/monitoring. I can't get any signals out of Line-out channels 3 and above. 1 and 2 are fine, I have tested all of these during recording and playback by plugging a set of headphones in each channel but these is no sound coming out. Is this something I need to set-up in Cubase or is my Firepod faulty?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am completly new to this game.

Lets see .. I don't have LE, a Firepod nor a Mac .... but my best guess would be that you need to setup output busses to use the rest of your Firepod's outs. Or select any of the other output pairs for the main stereo out.
1 and 2 are likely the default stereo output bus.
You may need to make sure all of the outputs are set to be visible and then create output busses to use them for means other than the main stereo output. Things like track output/sends or group output/sends.

As I just learned in my previous post, you probably have to activate your output bus in cubase. To do this go to:

Devices---->VST Outputs----> and then turn the power button on (it will turn blue) for all your lines out

Cubase LE uses line out 1 and 2 only as default so you have to active the rest of your lines.

I hope this solves your problem, I may have read your post completly wrong haha.

Thanks to you both, I have now managed to turn on my other outputs.

However instead of having 8 mono outputs Cubase seems to have defaulted to 4 stereo outputs. I am only able to assign busses to pairs of outputs rather than individual outputs.

Any ideas whay this is and how to resolve it?

Does LE not allow you to add new busses?
Devices > VST Connections > Outputs > Add Bus. Then you should have the option of Stereo or Mono and possibly other options.
I may be way off base ....
My experience is from the use of Nuendo and not LE, so I'm not certain of the differences.
