Stupid guy with a question...

Hallo.

My wife bought me a nice little laptop so I could finally write my book.

So I've bought Cubase and loaded it up...

Now I've managed to run a second CRT monitor from the laptop, but what I'd really like to do is have Cubase's Arrange window in my main (laptop) monitor and the mixer window in the second (CRT) monitor. can this be done? Without resorting to the dreaded RTFM?

Hayulp!

You have to set your stuff up so that windows uses 2 monitors instead of 1 monitor mirrored to another one (the same image on both monitors). This can easily be done in the Screen Properties menu of the config panel. Once you have that set up you can drag anything you want (transport, editing window, plugins etc) to either screen. Make a Window Layout of it when your done so you can load that up next time you work.
