Pedals or Effects processors?
Which is better? Pedals or Rack effects processors? And why?
I am looking to invest in about 6 pedals. Looking for ideas. Thanks. |

I've used a Digitech RP50 for all kinds of recording. It took a lot of work to find good tones. I've also got a Line 6 Spider II 112, after upgrading from a 15. I'm very happy with the tones I'm getting, and I didn't spend as much as I would have building a pedalboard.

it all depends on what you want.
If you want some real character effects like Zvex then go with the pedals, obviously, because they don't come in racks. If you want a boatload of good studio effects then you could get something from TC or Eventide... |
