mixing extreme metal drums suggestions?

Hi all! I'm using Beatcraft and NSKit 7 free to program some drum tracks for my black metal project and I'm new to drum programming and mixing. So anyone has any tips like how to pan, EQ, reverb everything then I'd be really greatful. I'm after the kind of sound that's not too lo-fi like Darkthrone but not too overproduced like death metal either. I want something brutal sounding enough but suitable for black metal. I especially have no idea what to do with my toms. Thanks.
