Routing a Delta 66 to Cool Edit Pro

Hi everyone. I'm a bit stuck.

Here's my setup:

i) M-Audio Delta 66 with Onni Studio breakout box
ii) M-Audio Fast Track w/ external mic
iii) Internal soundcard (SoundMax) w/ external mic
iv) Cool Edit Pro 2.0
v) mp3 player (WInamp, iTunes, take your pick)

I want to use the CEP multi-track hard disk recording to record 3 tracks
at once, specifically:

a) mp3 from the Delta
b) mic from the Fast Track
c) mic from the SoundMax

I've got the multi-track mic recording sorted - that works a treat and
mixes down as intended - I just can't route the mp3 audio to appear and
record in CEP. Now I know I can insert files and what have you, but I
would prefer to just play them and overdub where required (this is
ultimately for a podcast, so the less needless editing required, the
better). I've looked around for software solutions, but I'm not up for
paying $49 for something that can be done in hardware/software already
(now admittedly I don't know if it's possible or how to do it, hence why
I'm asking).

These are the i/o options I have available:

And this is how the Delta patchbay is currently set up.

So, here's the info I'm after: what would I need to change to allow me to
play an mp3 and have it appear in a track in CEP? I've tried all the
logical permutations of setting output and inout devices to the same thing
in WinAmp and CEP respectively, and I'm now stumped.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
