Sx 3 with LynxTwo c card

I finally took the plunge and scored the Lnynx card with SX3. I didn't realize until afterwards that SX3 only runs on windowsXP and I've been running win98, duh. So now I guess it's time for a new puter too.

Question: Can I use 2 cards, the Lynx at 24bit and a creative soundblaster live at 16? The Lynx doesn't seem to have midi and the blaster I was using does. Would that work in the same project using the SX3?

You won;'t be able to use both simulataneously for audio, but you should be able to use the Lynx for audio and the SB for midi/synth/soundfonts. You wouldn't want to use the SB's audio anyways

I have used a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz for gaming in my box, along side pro audio cards.

Thanks fraserhutch. I should have known this but I'm thinkin because I have something new I need to ask questions. I best heed my own advice before I ask more and... RTFM
