Cubase LE: No Playback

I posted this in the Alesis forum by accident, so I'll re-post it here. I'm new to Cubase LE. I recorded a track, and when I go to play it back, the meters are moving, but no sound comes out. Any ideas? Thanks.

You need to check the output for the track. How do you have it directed? Also, open the mixer and make sure you have that channel turned up. BTW are we talking Audio or Midi track?

Devices-->VST Outputs-->make sure your soundcard (to which you have your speakers connected) is selected as the output device

Also, you cannot monitor from a record enabled track.
