Cubase, Rewire and Reason

Hey everyone,

Im trying to use reason with cubase sx over rewire. would have thought that i could start playback from reason but that doesnt seem to work (if i press play in reason, ive got to go back to cubase before it starts, can only start in cubase directly).
Very annoying because i cant change synth parameters i reason while reason is playing (to find the right sound etc)
Anyone could help would be great.
