New Mad Mush singalong!

TADAAAA! (In England, that actually means "goodbye", but you have to say, "taa-daa")

Guess I don't have to suggest you enjoy it, since the title says it all.... i think i was still a teen when i wrote the lyrics. But i still likem. At the age of thirtyf**k.

Mad Mush: Enjoy

Cool tune, madmush. The recording is good, mixed well, and it sounds like just a fun song. Not much critic, as it is well done..

thanks guys and true-eurt, i bet if i'd sung it in chinese, you'd have sung along anyway since it's the kind of song that everybody just looooves. HA HA HA. I love to pretend i'm bragging!

"just a fun song", that's exactly it....!.... not meant to harm anybody..... i took some liberties on this recording actually.... the "yeehaa" in the middle and the end football choir.... but i thought they stuck out just enough to give it some more nerve.

Cool song Madmush. Good vocal sound... a little Lennonish gravel in the voice that adds something good. I like the line "...too high expectations will drive anyone insane... after all we're just a bunch of clowns." How true.

Ha!.... at 2:04 there's what sounds to me like a monkey shriek!! Cool. Cool. We have a toy stuffed monkey hanging from its velcro ended hands on a doorknob in our kitchen. It has become our sanity regulator. When you press it's middle it gives a monkey call shriek that's hilarious but a perfectly fitting response to some of the crazy things that happen to us. The monkey has now become a part of the family because it shrieks so much. We named it "Monkey", oddly enough - creative people that we are.

Thanks Madmush.

Tim

thank you tim!.... i have a toy monkey too, but it makes no noise, it's a "space monkey" softie that has a parachute.....you just throw it into the air with all your might and then watch it sail to the ground....when you're bored with that, you can pack the parachute into a little backpack it's got......

A happy song!!! Very Beatlish, a real "Ringo" type tune, with a John voice. Now I'm in a good mood.

Madmush, I think the monkey scream in your piece is a key element in its motivic structure, and that it could possibly be further developed. BTW my monkey now has his own thread. But here's a picture of him hanging out in his usual spot.
