hi. i just bought a dx-7S in mint shape for 150.00.(cdn funds) i have been looking for printed data sheets(voices) for this thing and i cant find any anywhere. i have some for the old dx-7 but i dont know how well they will sound. i am using this for the 80's cover band thing, the other thread i started , so i only need a few types of sounds . i have ordered the vintage synth rescue kit from vintage-synth on ebay. hopefully its got some of the stuff i need.
one other question i have is about sysex. i have a midi cable that plugs into the joystick port on my computer, can i use this to transmit files to the dx-7S?

Indeed you can. I've never used anything but a MIDI interface to connect to my TX7 and Sysex. You can also find patches and programs on the internet by searching Google.
