Reverb and inserts

I was using cubase today. mixing a lovely song.... used quite a lot of samples in different tracks...and used reverb on many of the channel inserts. I opened another cubase file... went back to the original one i was working on and all the channels automation became unselected (no great problem just reselected it all all again) but then I noticed all the inserts and eq are gone...argghhhh. Are all the settings stored in a seperate place? So that i dont have to go through each channel setting up the reverb again...... there must be an easier way

PHILL2796 is on a distinguished road
Why are you using verbs as inserts and not sends. You are wasting a lot of cpu doing like that.

No backups, but you might want to make a habbit of hitting Ctrl+Alt+S instead of Ctrl+S for saving. This saves the project under the same name, but with a number, adding up every time you save this way. Lets say your mix is named awesomemix.cpr (it's cpr or something right?), then it would save as awesomemix-01.cpr and so on...very handy if one file craps out on you.
