Transferring tracks from VF08 to computer problem?
Hi, after recording my basic 8 tracks on my Fostex VF08, I send them out via the back spdif through my SB LIVE digital into CEP 2.0 on my computer. I am getting large amounts of hiss and crackle, even when using 48 instead of 44.1khz. I have learned to live with using Noise Reduction in Cool Edit but am hoping someone can help me cut down or eliminate the inputting from digital 8 track through SB Live into the computer. I do know of the resampling problem so if I have to fork out for a new soundcard, please redirect me to one that is affordable. Thanks for listening, your assistance is appreciated, Psongman
