Boss DR-670 drum kit assignment

I have a DR-670 and i have it hooked up to my computer to play drums I programmed on the computer and the connection works fine. The only problem I have left, is that no matter what I do the drum machine always goes back to the default drum kit 1 whenever I hit start in sonar. I've tried everything to keep the kit I want but always goes back to 1. How do I stop it from going to default?

Sonar is sending out a program change number which your drum machine understands --- that's why it jumps to the default every time you push play. Read the Sonar manual as to how to rectify this looking under 'program changes'.

Ah I have to change the patch, but they aren't numbered so I have to figure out what number it is by guess and check. Thanks.

Look in the DR-670 manual. The program change numbers are in there somewhere...
