What to do??

Okay, whenever I have a multitrack session in Cool Edit and I send it to my default soundcard it's fine. But when I send the outs to my mixer (through my Delta 1010lt) the play controls freeze. Not the actual program or computer, just the play controls and I can't stop it or pause it, it only stops when the song is done playing. What's up with this?

Also...I bought more RAM hoping it would solve the problem...but no, I also got it so I could work on videos in Movie Maker more smoothly (bit off topic but give me a hand). I was told by a friend a video card will speed up video stuff like that, not just give you a better picture...this true? But I could swear I remember reading about a compatibility issue between recording soundcards and video cards other than onboard or cheap video cards or something to that effect. Can anyone shed light on any of this? Thanks.

No clue on this one but you might check and make sure you have up to date drivers. If that doesn't work, try a CEP reinstall?

Ok, I got some time and did a search and solved my video card issue. Now I guess I can try to reinstall CEP. Any other suggestions are good too.
