A better Roland manual

I have seen people on this site mention an "application" manual that someone other than Roland wrote for the VS-880... Where can I get my hands on one of these? Also, has there ever been anything made for the 880 in the way of a workbook? That's not a good word for it... um... like something that takes you through step by step so you create a song as you're going, and in doing so, learn how to use the functions, etc!

JW's VS Guide is one I have printed out, from a "VS list" site for Roland users, on the internet. It has a good deal of useful info, but it's still a matter of trial and error recording and then refering to it as and when you come across a problem.

I wish for the type of comprehensive step by step guide you describe too - or that Roland would offer worldwide workshops. It's a steep learning curve ain't it.
