I'm trying to record a digital signal from my computer onto the vs880ex using the optical input. is there a system setup step that i need to do before the 880 will record through the digital inputs?

The second button from the right under the screen is labelled "System".Push this button and scroll 'till you get to "SysMaster Clk".For optical input,select "DIGIN 2".
