EMES Kobalt anyone ?

I went to my local shop today and listened to these:

Mackie HR824
Small Genelec monitors (dunno which model sounded sooooo BAD)
KRK RP8
Samson Rubicon 6A
EMES Kobalt

The WORST were the Genelecs, followed by the Mackies which sounded like an HI-FI system with boomy bass to my ears..

The only ones that sounded FLAT and UNFLATTERINGLY ACCURATE to my ears were the EMES

Nobody sells Wharfedale (what a stinky name...lol) around here so don't even suggest.

Any opinions ?
