Clipping during playback

theres a couple problems, if somebody could help me with this i would appreciate it...oh, and Im using Audition

well i have about 160GB on my comp, with a recovery drive with about 6GB. For some odd reason when I save my sessions theyre listed in the C drive, but my recovery drive is full. So it keeps saying "your drive is almost full" Now I dont know if this has anything to do with it, but when I play portions that have more then one rack, it clips and distorts really loudly...anybody else had thios problem?

And also why is my recovery drive filling up instead of my regular hard drive? when I save it shows it saving to the folder on my desktop, I dont get it...

not sure about the full recovery drive situation, but with the clipping, it sounds like its just as simple as turning down the volume of your tracks....

You can specify where your TEMP folders are at: OPTIONS/SETTINGS, click on the the SYSTEM tab. Make sure your recovery drive is not listed there.

You may need to adjust the total buffer size and or the number of buffers used (options located in the same tab as above) to eliminate clippy/choppy noises.

Good luck,
Jon
