Talking

O.K. the best album in terms of music and lyrics has gone far, what about the musician all-round, Lennon, Mcartney, Dylan etc.

Who do you admire the most as an all round contributor to music, who has made the most impact overall, and any reasons would also be welcome.

There is no easy anwswer to this question. Paul Simon. Dylan, Ray Charles, Zappa, Lennon, Eno ,Quincy Jones, Rolling Stones, Prince, Duke Ellington, Woody Guthrie, Robert Johnson, Mozart, Michael Hedges, Hendrix, Les Paul. Umm...My Dad. My Mood, Me?
What is the Criteria.
I would Vote to refrase the Question as Who is our own greatist influence?........Mine is still the list above, and add a few.

Jeff Buckly.
His music is fantastic. he has brilliant songwriting skills and because he puts so much work into the musical side of his work, they sound unreal...

I think that Radiohead have also put alot into the music world. They were voted the 4th best racord of all time behind 3 beatles record in some music vote....
