mp3 updater
hi,
i ran out of mp3 encodings in cubase LE (i was surprised as i hadn't realized that this would happen). the program provided me with a link but when i clicked it, it didnt seem to take me to anywhere where i could buy the mp3 updater. where can i go to buy this upgrade and how much will i be paying for it? i have other ways to convert my wave files to mp3s but it would be a lot easier if i could just buy the upgrade. any help? anyone else succeed in doing this? thanks - mike |

Nope. I have SE, which also has a limited number of mp3 encodings. I never use the feature, though. For some reason, I didn't really like the sound of the mp3s that Cubase made. I prefer to render everything to a 16/44.1 .wav file (for burning cd's) and converting it in another program (iTunes) for internet upload. I think the resulting mp3 files sound better, but that could be a bunch of crap.
