Cool problems with Groove Agent

Hello all,

I am using Cubase SE with the full version of Groove Agent. In the past month or so I have been experiencing some problems.

Please note - this is only some times - she's a little bit tempramental.

Ok - so I'm laying a beat down and about 2/3/4 minutes in - the beat slows up and becomes really sparadic. There will be mayby only one snare playing for a while - then some hi hats - then the beat will kick back in for a bit etc etc

Sometimes in play back - it will work better and mess up again in a different playback.

Has anyone experienced this problem before? Any ideas on how to get it fixed would be greatly appreciated

Just a thought - Someone installed windows XP as opposed to windows 2000 on my computer

The XP did not install correctley and I concequentley use Windows 2000. However, the XP would not uninstall and I therefore have to choose XP or 2000 now - every time I turn my computer on.

Could this be something to do with it?

Possibly I might be best saving all my music work on to disc and uninstalling every thing on my computer and starting again?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as this has become a real obsticle in getting my song finished.

Thanks for any help given!!!!!!

Firstly, BACKUP EVERYTHING NOW!!!!!!!!!! Always keep projects backed up (I learned the hard way!)

Secondly, a well installed operating system is vital to a stable machine. I'd suggest reinstalling it.

With the problem of groove agent. I'll need to know a few more details... pc spec, soundcard etc. Also when your playing back check on the Performance bar... That sort of staggered jitters can be caused by the disc maxing out.
