It is a rebranded Oktava ML52, AFAIK.

There is a little feedback on the board on the Oktava. Several people liked it a lot.

...there have been a number of remarks in threads lately (on this and other recording BB sites) that chose the Nady/Apex ribbon mics over the Oktava/Electro Harmonix for "cleaner, clearer sounding" reproduction...I purchased the Nady and have been enjoying the mic...definately "FAT and WARM" sounding, but a real "gain-eater"...you better have some horsepower in your mic pre to drive these new ribbon mics!...

I like my Nady RSM-2 much better than I liked my Oktava ML52, which I returned to Guitar Center.
