Fostex B16 channel 10...?

Hi there,

Just bought a Fostex B16...when i put it on, the leds on channel 10 are pulsing in the red and if i hook up output 10 i hear a distorted noise in the same pulse, What can this be and is it easy to fix?....kind of a virgin yet with this machine....help!
