Wharfedale mixer/monitors

Hi I've read alot of these forums but havn't managed to find anything that compares the wharfedale 8.2A's to theLX-15's? Am I comparing apples to oranges? What ones would you go for?

Also I've narrowed my mixers down to two.

1. Yamaha MG12/4
2. Wharfedale R2004

Has anyone had any experiance with the R2004 or wharfedale mixers and their preamps?

Thanx.

Ok I just realised how dumb the question about the moniters was. for that I apologise.

I have the R1604. I'm new to recording and it's my first mixer, so I can't really compare it to anything else, let alone the quality of the preamps. It works fine for me. I also have the 8.2a monitors. They're my first monitors and I'm happy with them. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
