cubase..live music...
hi all. can you use cubase to record live music sources? if so, how???
also do i need a particular version? cheers

Yes you can, It's just the same way you record in the studio. and any version of Cubase will work as long as you have an interface with enough inputs or you could sub mix thru a mixer and 2 track it into Cubase.
But then you wont have and control for the mix down.. can you give us specific info on what you are going to be recording live?

ye sure. planning to do a regular band so drums, guitar, bass, vocals and maybe some keys. we have a terratec dmx 6-fire 24/96 i think and we will be getter a powered mixer soon. the idea i guess will be to do some tracks seperately but some live recordings would be good too.
