GT3 problems

I was trying to switch guitar tracks over to 24 bit to try something, and in the process somehow disabled the program. It wouldnt even open anymore with my Firepod running. I tried reinstalling GT3 and the firepod software and still no luck. This is pissing me off so someone please help.

Ok. First you will have to set the sampling in your Firepod mixer to 24bit. Then in GTP3 you should be able to go in and change the bit rate to 24. If your Firepod operates on the same basic principles as my Firebox, then this should work. The control panel for my Firebox lets me set the sampling rate. Once it is set, my software, GTP3 will only recongise that bit rate. If you try to set reset the bit rate in your software, but have not set your Firepod's control panel to that bit rate, then yeah, the program shits itself.

The sampling rate is set to be 44.1kHz on both the firepod and the software. I have the software set to 16 bit and the firepod control pannel doesnt have an option to change that. It says its 24 bit but I could record with it earlier.

did you try changing them both to 24? nothing wrong with 24-bit, you'll just have to remember to bump it down before you record to cd (most burning software does this anyways!)

We fixed it. Dont know how really. It just worked all of a sudden. Good I guess, wish I knew what happened though.
