Recording with a PC Laptop
Ok. So I need a quick fix..
I need to use my laptop to record some off-location vocals. The soundcard in the laptop is pretty crappy and has lots of latency. Anyone know of something that I can get at Guitar Center (it is the only thing I could get to quickly). I only need one input. I was looking at the Presonus Firebox maybe? The only thing is that my firewire port on the laptop is 4-pin. I know that most units need 6-pin to be powered.. so my 4-pin won't power it.. but will the 4-Pin still work efficiently with units like the FireBox? |
