.. the ONE thing I hate about AA is the incapacity or whatever to not support certain plug ins. such as that guitarsuite and the sonitus FX by cakewalk. does any one know a loophole around this?

Well, you need to be little more detailed about your problems, first off. But, the Guitar Suite will not work in AA because it is a VSTi or insturment plugin. VSTi's are not supported in AA or CE. The other plugin you mention, I have no experience with. What kind of problems are you having? I don't know how experienced you are with AA, but it may be as simple as enabling DX plugins and rescanning for new plugins to get it to work.

nah, i've been using umm AA for years, first started off with cool edit. Under 'unsupported' there is a directx option and sonitus fx is listed under there. i wanna know why it isn't supported. it's a cakewalk plugin.

I checked out the website for Sonitus FX and it mentions VST and DX. Can you reinstall as a VST?

let's just kill this thread .. i tried instaling SONAR and keep the plug ins and it was just a big mess .. i decided to go for other reverbs .. Ambience, Classic Reverb ... fuck it
