Fostex R8 and Model 80 questions

A couple of questions:
1. Anyone know of a source (other than Fostex itself) for R8 parts, specifically an R8 capstan motor?
2. Is the R8 a newer or older model than the Model 80 8 channel?

1) Buy another R8 off Ebay.
2) The R8 is newer than the Model 80.
