Hi guys,
I'm running Sonar 4 Producer and have a quick question concerning playing back MIDI drum sequences using one shot .wav samples. I used to have a TD-10 drum module and I would pipe the midi drum sequences I programmed in Sonar 4's Piano Roll View into it, then audio out of the TD-10 into my monitoring board (sitting in the channel right beside my audio mix). Well I've sold the TD-10 and was hoping I could assign one shot .wav samples to programmed MIDI drum sequences right within Sonar's Piano Roll View? So... MIDI track 1 notes => acoustic_kick.wav MIDI track 2 notes => acoustic_snare.wav MIDI track 3 notes => acoustic_tom_1.wav etc., etc. Is this possible or is there a plugin I would need to buy? And would velocities be accurately represented using audio samples? Thanks for any suggestions! ![]() Cheers, Samantha Last edited by Samantha C.; 06-28-2005 at 09:54.. |
