Question Confused about configuring software

I have reason 3.0, sound forge 6.0, Cubase Sx3, Nuendo 3, Halion 3, fruitloops, vegas 4.0, cakewalk, wave lab 5.0, PCDJ and I don't know what each software is for except for reason. I have no clue how to work anything but reason so can anybody give me some insight on what to do with these programs . *For example, I use Cubase for editing, cakewalk for sampling,. I hear Cubase, nuendo, and halion are some pretty tight programs. And how to configure these to work together. Gracias!

I'll have to assume that this is a joke about cracked software... Otherwise, this is just a joke.

How did you end up with $10,000 worth of sotware you know nothing about. BTW Cubase and Nuendo are almost the same program, one is $800 and the other is $1300. That seems like a very good use of money. You did buy these, didn't you? It would certainly take some balls to come here as ask how to use stolen stuff.

Thumbs down

As you can tell, software pirating is looked down upon here.

I actually took over a studio that my friend has who just recently was deployed to Iraq so, I don't know too much about the equipment he has. But i would like to make music while he's gone. I've checked several websites but I havent' found any manuals or anything.

A lot of times these come in some bundle with the hardware. My Digi002-Rack came with Reason and SampleTank and some others, and I still don't have a clue on WTF! to do with them... I know what they are now at least.

There is NO way Cubase SX2 and Nuendo 3 were bundled with anything.

And my guess is that if there are no manuals lying around (and lots of them), then the software is most likely pirated.

Question

And if for some reason the software is legitimate...there should be a giant PDF file lurking somewhere on the computer that contains a manual. Many software makers no longer provide printed manuals and the good ones include PDF-based documentation that normally loads with a default installation.

Cubase SX and Nuendo come with several printed manuals.

the odds of all of those relatively new programs being cracked and installed by a person that doesn't know what they're doing seems somewhat slim.

just stick with cubase. its pretty easy.

The odds of someone wasting $1500 on Nuendo after they spent $800 on cubase SX (being that they are 90% the same program) is even more unlikely.
