Cubase MIDI

Say I have 8 handclaps .wavs I want to layer.How do I control all of them from 1 midi channel so I dont waste 7?I also have Reason.

You could map all the files to the same key, or you could map them to different keys and simply draw in the notes for every clap at the same time.

Depends. How are you doing it now? Are you using some kind of sampler like Halion?

I don't have any sampler...jsut the 1 that comes with cubase i guess

If you have reason, you have two very sophisticated samplers (NN-19, NNTX) and a great loop player (Dr. REX) built into it. Have you even read the reason documentation?

You need to sit down with reason and go thru the documentation so that you can begin to understand what you have. Its worth the time.
