Electro Harmonix Mic pre question

To all the people who own or have seen this. Does this come with an XLR mic input and also an intrument (1/4) input. I would be using this as a direct box for my bass and guitar and then ffed the signal to my firebox. any info or pictures would help

I ordered one today. I am going to rent all the preamps from seventh circle audio, and do a side by side test with them, against the EH, and the ART TPS II. Tim has a rental rack mountable setup with 2 of each pre on it(8 total). I will be posting them as mp3's on my soundclick site. Here is a link to 7th circle. Walter

I will for sure. I am curious as to how this new EH will stack up next the the seventh circle stuff. I have been recording myself for a couple of years on ART TPS preamps, and fel it is time to move up. I recently bought 2- AKG C414 mics, and am slowly upgrading my recording chain. I should have it all done after the july 4th weekend. Walter
